“SOMOS - An Exhibition About The Micro-Universe Of Facebook Groups.”


To show the beauty of the connection between people with common interests, renowned photographer Bob Wolfenson dug into the universe of groups, looking for the essence that brings each of these collectives together. We portrayed real people from real Facebook groups - from Drag Queens, to Retrogamers, to Graffiti Artists - trying to extract that feeling of being part of something that is bigger than ourselves, the feeling of being part of a group. The end result was "Somos", an immersive exhibition showcasing the photographic portraits, as well as a three-channel video installation showing the documentary that was shot during the process.
